Remembrance Sunday

A lovely sunny day for Remembrance Sunday. Thomas was feeling much better today after a good night's sleep, and at the Remembrance Sunday Service at School he played the Last Post beautifully, with those final notes being sustained with good control. I always enjoy attending this service as they sing all my favourite hymns, and every year that I can remember the sunshine always comes in through the high windows of the chapel so it is well lit.

Then back home and Gavin had much admin to do after being away from home, and before he leaves to go away again on Friday.

Now we are going back to school as there is another concert in their American Songbook series, and Thomas is singing a solo which will be interesting as last time he sang a solo he was a tenor and now he is a bass.
