At the setting of the sun and in the morning......

Meet Jack (left)  he is my maternal Gt Grandfather who served during the 14-18 war and survived to tell the tale. He had four sons, three of which served during WW II. George & Keith survived serving in the Royal Artillery & Royal Navy respectively. Harold Joseph (bottom right centre) did not return home when the plane he was travelling in was shot down. He was designated missing - presumed dead.

This weekend we remember him & all who have served, so that the world is a safer place...
