A welcome tradition
A welcome tradition.
Like many friends I have a little rant about garden centres which turn themselves into
Christmas emporia by late September.
But here is a seasonal tradition for which I have nothing but praise.
Coffee this morning at the house of some dear friends and, as usual at this time, we are treated to home made hot mince pies and a glass, or perhaps two, of Triana wine.
It is delicious. If you don't know Triana this is how it is described on Google:
Aromas of raisins, molasses, figs, toffee, caramel, nuts, the palate is incredibly thick, dense, with an oily texture, massive concentration and unsurpassed sweetness and prolonged length. Think rich Christmas pudding in a glass and you won't be far off!
