Cold Rose

I haven't subscribed to MM for a while, but felt this suited the brief. The Julia Rose flowered earlier this year, then got terrible blackspot. This Rose is the one I brought home with me from Mum's and, with my sister's name it was precious to her. I took gardening advice, and tended the Rose, clipping all leaves that got 'the spot' until eventually there wasn't one leaf left. I thought it was done for! Then at the weekend, I noticed several new leaves and this one rather sad looking bloom, it is way too cold for it at this time of year, but I'm sure it's trying!
