Young scots

With Elliot I visited Louise at YoungScot today for a long overdue catch up. We are increasingly looking to engage young people both in our policy development and in helping us understand how we can improve their experiences in the children's hearings system. YoungScot leads the way in creative participation and more recently co-design and there is much we can learn of how to develop our approach and optimise potential. And how we might better understand the issues and pressures and challenges young people today in Scotland face.

While we are no longer able to qualify for a YoungScot card there was enough youthful energy in the discussion, I felt, to merit honorary membership.

This meeting was followed by another I had to further discuss wellbeing. On heading home 3 hours later there was still no sign of the super moon.

In other (domestic) news the greenhouse now has power. So some bright light to look at in the dark. More for a blip another day.
