Party Time

After a leisurely breakfast we headed into Christchurch Park for the Remembrance Day commemoration, which was very well-attended.. Our host, being leader of the council, laid a wreath.

In the afternoon Carole and I prepared food for the little "do". She had asked a few of my friends round to provide being 70 therapy. We had a lovely evening. It was so nice to catch up and everybody seemed to have a good time.

The collage is the surprise cakes at the top, me cutting one below and the bakers examining their efforts on the right. Jenny (on the right) not only teaches piano and competes to Olympic standard in dressage (or horse mincing as she terms it), but she also bakes for a cafe. She made the 7 shaped carrot cake. Sue, who excels at all she takes on, made the chocolate mint 0 shaped cake. They were both really delicious.

I'm trying to catch up with back blips.
