Making a Start

Apart from supporting SHH through the challenge of electrical difficulties over the last few days, I have also been reading through the challenging amount of information we have received with regard to applying for a visa to visit Russia in a few months time.  I must admit to being a bit befuddled by it all, but hoped that the actual process wouldn't be as confusing as the information we had been given.

So, I decided to start the process today as it was keeping me awake last night trying to sort out when we could get to London to have our fingerprints done and when we could be without our passports for a period of time.  We had already made a list of all the countries, with dates that we had visited in the last 10 years, but still had a fair amount of information, phone numbers, dates and such like to find relating to destinations, employment and education.  Took us a good couple of hours to do it all and make the appointment to go and get the fingerprints done.  It's now been sent off to the travel company for them to check before it goes to the Russian National Tourist Office.
