Lime Trio

Back to the leaves today.  Since I have become fascinated by the leaves around, I have become interested in the different places that certain trees seem to end up.  Maples in the Cathedral Yard for example.  Horse chestnuts bordering a main road and now lime trees all down the verges in our little suburban avenue.  Their seed heads fly all over the place.  And today there was such a variety in the colours.  So I managed to walk down the road peering intently at the different colours and trying to find some fine specimens to show you.  The neighbours must have wondered what I was doing.  I hope you like my little trio.

On a different note, I had my tooth crowned this morning and had an interesting discussion with my dentist about the relative merits of NHS Dentistry as opposed to the private kind.  Interesting.  What times we live in.  Then I had to take Mom to her Dentist, the lovely Antonio from Portugal who provides a caring approach to his NHS patients and looks after Mom with great kindness and consideration.  We went for coffee and cake and then a bit of shopping where the basket got very full very quickly with....  trifle and cake. And some bananas.  She gets very frightened when she isn't sure where she is and what she has to do so she hangs on to me very tightly with the result that we both stagger along like a funny old pair with a bag full of shopping.

Now, I really need to do some of my mental health and literature course...
