Sir Elton

Before heading down for our Malmaison 'full works' breakfast, Mrs DP received her Christmas present from me - two Elton John tickets for Manchester that evening to see his Red Piano show. The little white lie of spending the afternoon watching Shrewsbury vs Wycombe was replaced with an evening at the MEN Arena to watch a quite brilliant show. Three rows from the front meant we could see everything - a true showman, legend and British Institution in action. And he played Tiny Dancer which is her favourite. She's still grinning at the memory.
