Garden frog
This frog has found a favourite spot under some grasses by the edge of the new pond. He sat there for most of the day, in the shade and looking very grumpy.
Managed a bit of sitting out in the sunshine in the afternoon. Good to see all the hoverflies and bees in the garden. Even a few butterflies around.
Husband spotted an upside down rainbow in the sky - just a bit of one. After a bit of googling, we found that they are commonly known as 'smiles in the sky' or formally a circumzenithal arc. These happen when sunlight is refracted through horizontally-oriented ice crystals rather than from raindrops.
