Driesh and Mayar
I can't remember when gkw4 and I climbed these two munros, but I can't find it in my blips so it must have been quite a while ago! It's an absolutely fantastic walk, starting in a forest before climbing up a waterfall and up to the first top (I've put two photos in the extras). The two munros are very close together, and most of the way has great paths (they could be the entire way but we kept losing them due to the snow), so they're great to do as a short walk out.
The walk did take slightly longer than expected due to all the snow though - it kept going past our knees!! There was a lot of falling over and snowball fights and it was really great fun :) visibility was perfect all day too - a huge change from the 20% chance of cloud free munros forecast by MWIS the day before! We even ran down the final bit - it was great to use my fell running shoes for their actual use again :)
Even after all the munros I climbed over summer, these are still strong contenders for my favourites. Definitely go and give them a go if you're interested in an easy(ish) walk and some great views!
