Sinterklaas: High five!

Sinterklaas came to Appingedam this evening and was welcomed by hundreds of children.
Normally he arrives on a Saturday afternoon, but this year for the first time he came in the evening. It created a great atmosphere.

Difficult to photograph though. Although I also have some nice closeups of the bishop, I chose this high five moment as my blip. For me it sums op what Sinterklaas en Zwarte Piet is all about.....
