Feathered Thorn
The Feathered Thorn Colotois pennaria, is another of our beautiful autumnal moths which is quite commonly distributed in the UK. It gets it's common name from the amazing antennae sported by the males, which I have decided to use for my blip today.
It looks like the weather here has taken a turn for the worse from now onward, so I feel rather sadly, this may be the final moth trap offering until next spring :-(
