Cast a tall shadow

Devon seemed to have a big storm overnight. Here in East Devon we had trees down and in our garden two large clay pots filled with earth and flower's were thrown across the patio and smashed. At Lamberts Castle the calves seemed to have had a rough night and one of the walkers told me that there was one laying in a ditch looking very poorly. However over night the storm seems to have blown itself out and the sun was shining casting a long shadow.
