Goldeneye
It was nice come across a Goldeneye down at Tong Park Dam, Baildon this lunchtime, the first time I've seen one here. It wasn't quite a confiding as the one at Yeadon Tarn last year, and light was poor, but I managed this record shot at least.
It was joined on the dam by seven Goosander and a Cormorant along with the usual.
I carried on under the viaduct down to the river and walked up to Denso Marson Reserve, passing a Goosander and Grey Heron along the way. A Kingfisher was fishing in the small pond at the reserve.
No Waxwings though, despite Hawthorn trees laden with berries.
