Snack

The sun emerged briefly at lunchtime, and needing to decompress I thought I'd have a quick stroll around campus to see if the winter berry reserves had been found by any passing Waxwings.

No was the answer, but these orange Rowan berries were proving popular with Starlings, Blackbirds and a few Redwings like this one.  I've brightened the image considerably to bring out the Redwing's markings - apologies for the slightly unreal effect.
