Success!

The birds finally condescended to eat my home-made bird cakes and they were enjoyed by both blue tits and greenfinches:-)  I'd put one on the ground under the bird table too and the robins and pigeons both tucked in!  Maybe the freezing temperatures today persuaded them to give it a try.

Slightly less success on the diet front, as I have only lost just under four pounds in the first week, despite all the deprivation of goodies:-)  Very disappointed, but will keep going in the hope that it will suddenly all fall off:-)
