Fading Colour

Not quite an emergency blip - but the only chance I got to take photo today.

It was very cold (face numbingly so) this morning on our walk - and not much in the way of light.

This is a shot of a little wooded area known as Whin Covert - it is mixed woodland and I love all the varied colours as the leaves lose their colours at different rates.

Annoyingly, an hour later there was a bit of sunshine and I think it would have made a better shot - but I didn't have time to go back and redo it! At least I got some shower clouds in the left of the sky! Still worth a look in LARGE.

We had a house full this afternoon and extra  mouths to feed at tea time. Our daughter had phoned to say could they call in - so we offered them our roast dinner - and then our son phoned so he was offered a meal as well - which involved going to collect him as he doesn't drive. Then our daughter asked if they could leave granddaughter as there was a bit of a crisis at work which meant she will be going in during the day on Monday. So we have been busy all day - hence the 'Emergency Blip'!

Extra granddad duties on Monday - and a trip to Doncaster at tea time to deliver the baby home! May get a behind on blip (again)
