Kingfisher(Alcedo atthis)

I'm beginning to think the Red Arrows are far easier to photograph than a Kingfisher! I just managed to almost stop the motion of the Kingfisher just hovering before a dive into the river for a fish. The head is relatively in focus but those wings are too fast even for a relatively fast shutter speed. Still practice makes perfect and one day hopefully I will get my shot! Many thanks for your interest in the Red Arrows in Oman, another extra today of them, looking through my photos they really are absolutely spot on perfectionists at flying in formation. Incredible!
