Being WildCardinal...

Across the Dee valley

A really lazy day today, with a late start, late breakfast, late lunch and late heading out for a walk.

The upside to all this lateness was that was we were coming down from the hills the late afternoon sun started firing up the sky over the mountains. This is looking across the Dee valley towards the north east areas of Snowdonia national park (which is still quite a way from Snowdon itself). We sat and watched the sky turn all sorts of wonderful colours, along with the clouds forming up over the hills. We stayed for a long as we could once the biting midges came out to use us for supper.

Even more impressive skies.

Weather is supposed to be wetter tomorrow, though I tend to think the best forecast in this part of the country is just to look out of the window it's so changeable.
