Frozen....

A frosty start today, -7c at 6am. Another day spent working with cattle. Brought in cows and calves next door, clipped and vaccinated the calves and into the shed for the winter. Spent the afternoon hauling the rest of the heifers from next door over here to the slatted shed.
The snow came on about 3pm, but by tonight it is pouring with rain and blowing a hoolie from the north. You can tell it's from the north, as sitting in the kitchen watching Guy Martin on the tv you can hardly hear the telly for the draught whistling under the back door !
Still have some cows with wee calves up the hill. They won't be enjoying this much . Will need to think about housing them soon.
