Last one standing

Blimey what a cold night initially, then it warmed up and started to pour down, again!
The winds have gradually built during the day, leaves everywhere!!! Not many left on the branches now, other than a little one here and there!

Sis rang this morning, mum had been on the phone all confused about one or two things... sis was picking her up and taking her back to her house, so hopefully mum will be happy sat with Bailey, sis's dog, he will calm her down a bit fingers crossed

We drove round to Lidl for fruit and veg plus a few other things, it was chucking it down.
Once back home, it was definitely a day for staying indoors......so it was mulligatawny soup and a roast beef sandwich for lunch.

the rest of the afternoon involved the writing of the remaining C cards, cleaned our shower, and making a shepherds pie for dinner.

Watched tv, first episode of the new series of The Affair :-) then chatted to youngest. It seems the taxi company who is supposed to be taking him to and from work are causing no end of problems.....keep letting him down in the evening. One night last week he was stuck outside work. The cleaner had finished and needed to lock up and they still hadn't been to collect him. Had to ring a relative who kindly went to get him.....hope it will get sorted soon!!

It's now 11.30 and it's still hammering down outside!!
