All the leaves are brown..........

and the sky is grey (one of my all time fav songs!!) ...well actually the sky was blue some of the time today :-)

We were up relatively early and walked round to the paper shop. After a quick rummage around the garden for today's blip, which is what remains of our beautiful bright yellow dahlia, post Jack Frost!!! Really need to do some major cutting back in the garden this coming week :-/

After this we were heading off in the car for our respective lunch dates! Daughter had asked us out to Sunday lunch, but as it was my turn to see mum this weekend, hub went with daughter and I took mum out ;-)

Mum and I got a few more "C" presents sorted out. We enjoyed our lunch, including some scrummy carrot cake! We wandered around the garden centre for a good while and left as it closed, by which time it was dark!

We had a cuppa back at mums, did a few bits and bobs around the house. I left mum a ham and egg sandwich with some crisps and a slice of lemon drizzle cake for her tea later.

Got home around 7, glad hub and daughter enjoyed their lunch too......Just watched Strictly, gutted at the outcome :-(((
