Traditional Dress

All week Oaxaca has been hosting a symposium on Shibori, which is a form of Japanese dyeing of fabric. Since people came from many countries of the world, part of the opening ceremony was a "fashion show" that highlighted the exquisite weaving and embroidery skills of the women of the state of Oaxaca. The traditional dress from various regions of the state are quite different, but all are colorful and gorgeous.
My friend and I were not part of the symposium, so we had to stand in the back, and the opportunities for photos that didn't include heads, arms and cameras of other viewers were few! 
We are so lucky we can see these every day.
