Snowy Goatfell
Today we stayed at home for the morning then in the afternoon we went out for our walk.
Another crisp bright day, although not as cold as yesterday.
We took the car out the Kilkerran road where we parked and left Maeve in the car to have a snooze.
The high hills on Arran still had their dusting of snow and were so visible on the horizon.
We walked out past Davaar House and on past Kildalloig Bay heading in the direction of New Orleans.Taking the path along the shore we headed to Fisherman's Cottage, which is a holiday rental.
From this cottage we were treated to a view of Davaar island and all the way up Kilbrannan sound with Kintyre's East shore on one side and Arran's West shore and all of its mountains on the other. The mountains had snow on the tops (see my extra).
We then turned and walked back to the car and a sleepy Maeve :-)
