Traces of Empire Wallpaper!

I found this wallpaper in the Sofitel Grand Hotel Conference Centre in Amsterdam.

It could have been made for this blip. The recent renovation has focused on the historical figures who have stayed at the hotel - which has featured before in the blip - when it was a hotel for Princen en Groote Heeren (Princes and Gentlemen of Standing). Guests at the Princenhof included the Prince of Orange, William the Silent himself, and his sons and successors Prince Maurits and Prince Frederik Hendrik. The French Queen Maria de Medici stayed there in 1632.
