Wild Wednesday - Sheikh Zayed Road

G had a late start today, so we headed to EdEx being held at the Conrad Hotel to meet up with an old friend who happens to be chairing one of the sessions! Hadn't seen him in 8 years, so the 30 minutes we had flew! A very kind lady offered to take a picture of the three of us, and I got a picture of the hotel lobby. First time we've been in there. It is pretty grand.

And then G set off for school, and I walked over the highway using the Metro bridge. It was super to be so close to the traffic - but just over... and now that I have the chance to look properly, I see a white van driver has pulled over onto the hard shoulder to offload his passengers. There you go...

That's WILD.

Went back to Pauline's clinic after work to have BP/glucose checks!
