South-southwest

Day 19 Up early today walking the line drawn on the map from Glossop town centre to the South-southwest.

It's a good one up Victoria Street past the church and up the Whiteley Nab via Hobroyd. The site of a former rope works now the Pennine Care Home.

As its Sunday I've seleceted this one featuring St. James' Whitfield parish church as my photo of the day.

Glad I went out early it's raining now and of course there is the Test match to watch. Where has the summer gone how can this be the last Test Match of the summer. The match is nicely poised but starting to lean towards South Africa I would suggest.
