Mrs Puddle Duck of many

Until today I had never realised just how yellow,the under feathers were in mrs PD
  I had always presumed that the yellowing of her plumage was down to staining from the water!
   But NO. The feathers under her wings ect. are as yellow as a buttercup.
I have never seen yellow like that on a Duck before.
    Anyone else ever seen it?
