Alive....

One of those days today spent chasing my tail. Had to run junior in to school first thing. While I was away there was a cow needing calved , by the time I got back they had managed but the calf was dead. Twinned on a spare calf , then clipped and vaccinated the calves we housed yesterday as it was too wet to do it then.
Just finished that when the account arrived for his hastily rearranged meeting. Went through the draft accounts and tried to provide him with all the missing information ( i.e. telling the same story as last year ! )
Another cow on calving tonight and by 8pm she was no further forward so had an investigate . Both front legs there but a big head sticking things. Managed to get it out alive with a bit of a pull with the calving jack. It now looks a lot more alive than in the photo !
