Well, seems it's time to confirm my location  -  am in Amadores on Gran Canaria (the Canary Islands, Spanish held and off the coast of Africa).

Well done to EAGS and Yorkshirebred who were spot on ...... and also to Terrifo, Tammiegirl, Pleach, Saltandvinegar, Wildwood and Skeena who were right on the island!!

We are staying in the large hotel halfway up the cliff - in one of the rooms on the fourth floor of the building on the right - see this photo - stunning views and really great food - not full either so doesn't feel busy - a bonus!!

Today you get yet another sunset but with a ''pirate boat'' - which we see a couple of times a day and suspect is a "booze cruise" - fairly popular in the bigger, noisy resorts.

Thank you for all your great comments on the four gulls yesterday - they were back again today with a few of their friends!!

FlowerFriday25 tomorrow - not too many flowers up this volcanic cliff (plenty of cacti/cactuses - lol) but I'll do my best for my own challenge!!
