Port Wine…………….

The black clouds of late yesterday produced rain overnight and most of today.

I picked this enchanting flower and brought it inside to photograph - tiny raindrops still cling to the leaves.
The perfume produced by these dainty flowers fill the air, especially when the evening is warm and balmy.

The Port Wine Magnolia (Michelia figo) is a small tree, discovered in China and introduced to the world in the 18th century
