Open your eyes

So this is my 1000th Blip, and I wish I had something more interesting to report than a day of the more tedious aspects of preparing to be away for a month.
 
This mural in Ipanema could be interpreted in so many ways. Judging by the fierce expression on the man's face, he might be commented on the dire financial and political situation in Brazil - or .Europe, or the US, or.... On the other hand, it could be a motto for Blippers. I'm very thankful to Blipfoto for making me more aware of the world around me, and feel greatly enriched by the sharing and friendship I've encountered.
