new balls please

Took our mate from the Weedge to the club today for some afternoon bowling to clear our head. They've bought a load of new bowling balls (for those that haven't got their own... ;) )
These are awaiting judgement of whether they're good enough to stay or get chucked. I wonder what they do with them when they get binned... surely they can'y just got in a bin bag - the bin man wouldn't be best chuffed. Many of these balls would have been donated by members and former members. Many of them have folks' name on - dave, mae, gus...
