Chilli, squash and coconut pie.

I had another blip lined up for today but when this came out of the oven it became the candidate for today's blip. And it tasted good too, so I've put up the recipe as an extra.

Apart from a walk in a dark and blustery late afternoon most of the day was spent up at Doreen's packing all the movable stuff in her lounge and hall ready for the removers to come tomorrow. My job was to take down 3 sets of curtains, valances and rails. Do you know what it is like to unravel the myriad of knots that those header tape cords get themselves into after many years? Tryfan does! Spent much time sorting out those knots so that the pleats could be straightened ready for dry cleaning. Washed all the rails too.

Our final task was to move the cooker and washing machine so we could clean behind it ready for the new flooring which will be going down when all the repairs have been done. The chilli and squash pie went down very well; our own squash and own potatoes.
