Ian - Curtain Hanger Extrodanaire

A number of Blippers have asked how Ian is getting on since the Transplant so it's about time I blipped him, with stomach pulled in! :-)
Marlane is altering some curtains for his wife, Kim, and so we took the sewing machine and overlocker to their house late morning so she could get on with it.
The blip is Ian hanging the first one and, as you can see, he is doing very well in himself. On Monday he was back in hospital to have the Dialysis tube and Stent taken out so it was another general anesthetic and surgery but not as major as the transplant itself.
That was the good news. The bad news is that the disease that affected his own kidneys has started to affect my old kidney so the creatine level is dropping which is not good news at all. The kidney filters out the creatine but the disease he has stops this function.
They are investigating what can be done about it. Fingers crossed.
