Sunset at Ravenscar

We arranged to get together for a very enjoyable second mini-blipmeet over lunch with Riversider today (in Scarborough this time) and had the pleasure of meeting L as well for the first time.

After we left them we stopped off at Ravenscar for a short stroll to the old Alum works. As we arrived back at the car the sunset was rather magnificent. The main photo was a lucky shot as a flock of birds came over; the extra was taken looking across towards Robin Hood's Bay.

We're off back home tomorrow - we'll be sorry to leave this lovely part of the coast (but we know we're lucky to have the Northumberland coast nearby at home).
