Colour on the Common
Another cold and frosty morning, and spectacularly beautiful as I drove to work - frosted trees sparkling in the sunlight and mist in the valley. Unfortunately, no safe place to park for a photo or two.
Getting dark as we walked on the Common with Louie late this afternoon. But the beech trees and, in front of them, the spindle tree which was full of vivid pink fruits and orange seeds (close-up by flash as extra), were almost luminous in the last of the light.
Home for a meal before MrM set off to play with the jazz band. I'm about to tackle one or two little chores before deciding which Christmas recipes to make this year...
