Waterloo Sunset

Have had such a beautiful weekend with my husband and Audrey. Today was my ideal Sunday - eggs benedict and coffees at our local cafe, Sunday papers, playing my vinyl records (had to be Waterloo Sunset by The Kinks inspired by Ray Davies's Olympics performance), some TV and sofa time and a walk with the pram before dinner. My husband even managed to watch the City game uninterrupted.

Audrey has been such a happy, calm baby this weekend. We refuse to take it for granted as it could all change at any moment but it really has been amazing.

The fact that I managed to get my vinyl record collection out and read the Sunday papers says a lot. Just a perfect day...
