Is it a bird?!

I was in the woods today (again) hiking with my step-granddaughter and her friend as they came by the house on their way to Florida.  We went to one of my favorite places for about  2 miles.

I spotted this work of art on a stump  Wonders in Nature never cease!

I had made up my mind to stop doing nature photos for a while..I lied!
