The old gas station

And yes, it is blurry taken out the car window on a bumpy road!

This old Esso station is on the way  to our #1 son's farm in North Carolina from West Jefferson where we had our hotel room last night.    #2 son and his wife stayed at the house (and really, we were ready for a little quiet since our kids and grandkids are loud and rowdy!)   We had to leave the dog with the boys as the hotel would not allow dogs but #1 son said she slept with him and DIL all night long.   They spoil dogs as much as I do!

The town of West Jefferson is very rural and has many places from days gone by that are worth exploring.  So many country roads I want to drive down to see what might be there.
