Barbecue chicken

Early start (after too much Game of Thrones) to get CarbBoy to another basketball trip. Then the market, sorting TallGirl's work experience and buying big trees.

Gardening followed, though the soil is a little wet for it, with the last tomatoes harvested. Lunch and setting the world to rights took up the afternoon and, during all that, this neighbour wandered by.

Dinner and a movie (Planes, Trains and Automobiles was a success with half our audience) and now we're all shattered.

Over dinner a historical discussion veered into talking about King Herod. When asked why Herod had ordered the children killed, CarbBoy suggested 'maybe he was really badly treated as a boy?' Is he listening to too much Radio 4?
