Sinkhole

When we went to bed last night, the water pressure seemed very low, so I filled the kettle and a bottle with water just in case - woke up this morning, and the water was turned off completely.  Turns out it was thanks to this sinkhole in Lewisham.  Our elderly neighbour popped round this morning to see if our water was off, too - after that, Tim threw some clothes on and went and stocked up on bottled water - and dropped one of the bottles off with her on his way back.

Had a very lazy day, but spruced ourselves up as best we could this afternoon and headed over to New Cross to meet up with our friends Martin and Sarah in a pub there.  Stayed for an hour or so, then came home and had some dinner.  Tried the water again after that, and it was finally back on.  Showers for everyone!  I got straight into my pyjamas after that and we snuggled up on the sofa for Planet Earth II :)
