Party In The Gardens

A morning of reading the papers after meeting up with Bags (formally known as daughter), the Cygnet and his other grandparents all of whom had also gone to the shop.

This afternoon SWMBO and I headed in to Princes Street Gardens to see Nina Nesbitt and her friend, Johnny Downie put on a free, accoustic show.
It was just a shame they were having to compete with the (not great) piper on Waverly Bridge and the trains.

On the way back to the car we came across Tom Ward and his extremely battered guitar.
He is a supremely talented Australian guitarist and is obviously earning a decent living 'busking' judging by the pile of cash in his case.
I added mine in exchange for one of his CDs
Not sure if this lady did the same, but she was certainly very intent on his playing.

I took a couple of shots of the curved walkway over Leith Street and thought I would have a bit of a play with it.
