Silly Saturday ...

Swimming now?!? At the end of November?!?

Is R really getting ready to dive into what's left of our pool?

But on a more serious note: After we had closed it for the winter we noticed that it was losing water ... that's not good.  Over the past few days he has been keeping an eye on it.  Today he pulled back the cover and saw that almost all the water has leaked out from somewhere. Unfortunately, he has not able to find the source. 

I think I may have mentioned this last year, but the pool has had structural problems for a few years.  We were hoping to get a few more years use out of it but with this new problem I think it's finally time to give up on it.  We certainly don't have the thousands of dollars it would cost to have it fixed properly. 

It's going to be a very sad day when we have it removed.  It is my summer refuge.   :-(
