Lost and ....

... found.

When we were at Housenick Park yesterday I saw this feather stuck in the fence post.  I didn't have the tripod with me .... so today we returned with tripod in tow and a better lens.  And the hope that the feather was still there!

I took several shots with the nifty-fifty but then tried some with the telephoto in order to get some good bokeh.  I liked this shot the best. 

If anyone can tell me what type of bird this is from I would greatly appreciate it.  I'm assuming it's some sort of hawk as the feather is quite large.
