Dipper

Today's the day ............................. to dip below

We were warned that last night was going to be very cold - possibly the coldest so far this year.

We probably fared better than some other rural spots where temperatures were expected to dip below freezing to - 8◦C or more.  Even so it was still bitterly cold down by the River Kent as I walked home from town mid-morning.  It didn't seem to bother this little Dipper though that was in and out of the freezing cold water - time and time again. 

Must come from hardy stock ......................
