On A Clear Day

All kitted out with gaiters and overmittens today , we decided to walk up Glenridding Dodd and Sheffield Pike with our friends. It was a much steeper walk than yesterday , but the ice and  snow at the top were just as hazardous. The feet stayed toasty this time though.
The sun on the lying snow high up was sparkling and beautiful, and after a slightly overcast day the sky cleared to a freezing blue with yet another stunning sunset, shedding a pink blush on the Fells around.
