Day Of Rest

Thank you everyone for such kind words and thoughts and prayers for Dolly as she had her Dental op yesterday! At her advanced age I really was quite concerned and was so relieved that everything had gone so well and to have her back with me!

She continues to do well, although night time was a struggle last night as she coughed throughout the night. This is not an unusual result of having a tube stuck down her throat while she was under anaesthetic. The inflammation clears up naturally and she's coughing less and less today. She spent the entire day here in front of the fire, with her friend 'Scooby', and I sat with her the whole time, getting some work done on my laptop. She's not eaten a whole lot, but she did take her medicine in some salmon rolls! She thinks the salmon treats are a reward for what she's been through - and of course they are!
