Robin and Sparrow

This morning the birds seemed more interested in the seeds that had fallen to the ground from their feed tray. It's very cold - so maybe it's warmer down there sheltered by the long grass!  This Robin is a frequent visitor and today seems to be asserting himself against the Sparrow:)  Why he should I can't think  -  there's more than enough down there for both:)
